Features an air-cooled heat shield, at 220 degrees cool, to protect heat-sensitive synthetic carpet fibers. Uses an "S" shaped heating element, creating more uniform heat throughout the REMOVABLE/REPLACEABLE grooved sole plate. A super-low profile permits the seam edges to be joined close off the back iron. Improved with temperature knob and lights on top. Dual red and green indicators lights show both "power-on" and "heating" status. Cord is 12 feet SJO heat-resistant type, with a 3-position strain relief and molded 3-prong plug. Also comes with a greatly improved seaming iron tray. Instructions, guarantee, and seam iron cleaner comb are included.
